On Tuesday, 23 February 2016, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on V. Krėvės pr. near No. 43, a Honda Jazz hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Honda (3 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
