On Thursday, 3 March 2016, in the evening at 21:40, in Joniškio district municipality, on Vilniaus street near No. 1, at the junction with Šiaulių Senoji street, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a bicycle and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 22-year-old cyclist, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
