On Saturday, 5 March 2016, in the morning at 7:22, in Vilnius, on Galvės street, at the junction with Kirtimų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Signum and a Volkswagen Golf Plus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Opel (8 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
