On Thursday, 10 March 2016, in the evening at 18:42, in Telšių district municipality, Rainių village, on Telšių street near No. 1, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf, a Renault Espace and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober.
