On Tuesday, 15 March 2016, in the evening at 20:50, in Vilnius, on Laisvės pr., at the junction with Žemynos street, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane and a Peugeot 206. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
