On Wednesday, 16 March 2016, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on P. Lukšio street near No. 50, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Mercedes-Benz E 290 Turbodiesel. One person was injured — the 22-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.04‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
