Mazda driver flees after hitting a cyclist on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai road
On Thursday, 17 March 2016, in the evening at around 18:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai main road (kilometre 55.91), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Mazda Premacy and a bicycle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Mazda (37 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
