On Friday, 18 March 2016, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on Perkūno al. near No. 5, an Audi 100 Avant hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 63-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Audi (22 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
