On Sunday, 13 March 2016, in the afternoon at 14:40, in Klaipėda, on Pamario street, at the junction with Antrosios Melnragės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra-G-Caravan, a Skoda Fabia and an Audi A4. Two people were injured — a 26-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient) and the 26-year-old driver of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Opel (1 year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
