On Tuesday, 22 March 2016, in the evening at 19:05, in Alytus, on J. Basanavičiaus (dainų slėnis) street, at a yard or parking-lot exit, an Audi A3 WAHLW. Audi S3 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. Two people were injured — a 21-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 21-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to fulfil pedestrian duties.
