On Sunday, 27 March 2016, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on Gegužės a., at the junction with Rodūnės street, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a moped and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of a moped, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
