On Saturday, 2 April 2016, in the afternoon at 15:50, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 67), a Skoda Fabia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Skoda (12 years of driving experience), who fell asleep at the wheel. The driver was sober.
