On Friday, 23 October 2015, in the morning at around 10:00, in Varėnos district municipality, on the Valkininkų g s –Daugai–Alytus national road, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Felicia and an Iveco 35C15V. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 73-year-old driver of the Skoda (21 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
