On Saturday, 16 April 2016, in the evening at 21:35, in Šakių district municipality, on Šaulių street, at the junction with J. Basanavičiaus street, an Audi A6 Avant hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 15-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized).
