On Wednesday, 20 April 2016, in the morning at around 8:00, in Vilnius, on žirmūnų tiltas street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Peugeot (38 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
