On Friday, 22 April 2016, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on E. Ožeškienės street near No. 5, a Volvo S60 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 70-year-old pedestrian, who failed to obey traffic-control signals. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
