On Friday, 22 April 2016, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. near No. 34, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Voyager and an Opel Vectra Station Wagon. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Chrysler (16 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
