On Saturday, 23 April 2016, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Vilnius, on Justiniškių street near No. 91, at the junction with Rygos street, a Kawasaki ZX 900-C2 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 69-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Kawasaki, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
