On Tuesday, 7 July 2015, at night at 23:11, in Vilnius, on Jogailos street near No. 9A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Fiesta, a Volkswagen Touareg, a Volkswagen Golf, a Volkswagen Sharan and a Toyota Carina. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Ford, who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs, committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
