On Tuesday, 17 May 2016, in the morning at 7:40, in Kaunas, on S. Žukausko street near No. 4, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Galant and a Nissan Micra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (35 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
