On Thursday, 19 May 2016, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Kaunas, on Tvirtovės al., at the junction with Sukilėlių pr., a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Carisma and a Saab 9-5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (38 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
