On Friday, 20 May 2016, at night at 0:43, in Švenčionių district municipality, Kločiūnų village, on the Pabradė–Prienai–Kiemeliškės regional road (kilometre 6.88), a Renault Twingo rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Renault, who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.50‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
