On Monday, 23 May 2016, in the evening at 21:58, in Vilniaus district municipality, Eitminiškių village, on the Nemenčinė–Eitminiškės–Paberžė regional road (kilometre 2), an Opel Omega rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
