On Thursday, 2 June 2016, in the evening at 19:11, in Vilnius, on Trakų street, at the junction with Vilniaus street, a Toyota Prius hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 28-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Toyota (5 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties and failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
