On Tuesday, 7 June 2016, in the evening at around 21:00, in Vilnius, on Balsių street near No. 77, at the junction with Ragučio street, a Nissan X-Trail ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Nissan (37 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
