On Wednesday, 8 June 2016, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Panevėžys, on Klaipėdos street near No. 29, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia, an Audi 80 Avant, a car and a Volkswagen Vento. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Skoda, who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
