On Friday, 10 June 2016, in the evening at 19:25, in Kaunas, on Hipodromo street near No. 13, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 D and a Mercedes-Benz ML350. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the BMW (26 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene.
