On Monday, 13 June 2016, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 60, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane Scenic and a Toyota Corolla. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.97‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
