On Tuesday, 14 June 2016, in the evening at 20:41, in Šiauliai, on Vytauto street, at the junction with A. Mickevičiaus street, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Avensis and a Yamaha YQ 50 Aerox. Two people were injured — the 15-year-old driver of the Yamaha (treated as an outpatient) and a 15-year-old passenger of the Yamaha (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Toyota (15 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
