On Sunday, 19 June 2016, in the afternoon at 15:34, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 180.70), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla Verso, a car and a Mitsubishi Outlander. Four people were injured — the 51-year-old driver of the Toyota (hospitalized), a 2-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient), a 32-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient) and a 0-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Toyota (3 years of driving experience), who violated traffic rules on motorways. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
