On Friday, 24 June 2016, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on Rokų street near No. 17, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 TDS and a BMW 318. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW 525 TDS (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. The 27-year-old driver of the BMW 318 had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
