On Thursday, 30 June 2016, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr., at the junction with Birštono street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia Combi, a Toyota Yaris, a Toyota Corolla Verso and a Toyota RAV4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Skoda (49 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
