On Friday, 1 July 2016, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Kaunas, on Kalniečių street, at the junction with Algirdo street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S80, an Audi A4 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Volvo (15 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. All drivers were sober.
