On Sunday, 3 July 2016, in the evening at 21:48, in Vilnius, on Kauno street, at the junction with Mindaugo street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Carisma and a Volkswagen NEW Beetle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.82‰ blood alcohol).
