On Monday, 11 July 2016, at night at 23:50, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Gindulių village, on Saulės street near No. 7, a BMW 5ER Reihe ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the BMW (24 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
