On Friday, 15 July 2016, in the evening at 17:21, in Klaipėda, on Paryžiaus Komunos street, at the junction with Rumpiškės street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406 and a Honda Civic 5DR. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Peugeot (31 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
