On Friday, 22 July 2016, in the evening at 18:20, in Kauno district municipality, on V. Montvilos near No. 10, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and a KIA Motors Ceed. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Audi (35 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.39‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
