On Tuesday, 26 July 2016, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on A. Smetonos al., a bicycle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 8-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by a 23-year-old cyclist, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
