On Thursday, 21 July 2016, in the afternoon at 11:10, in Šakių district municipality, Plokščių village, on Mokyklos street, at the junction with Nemuno street, a bicycle ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 36-year-old cyclist, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.30‰ blood alcohol).
