On Thursday, 28 July 2016, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Klaipėda, on Šiaurės pr. near No. 15, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 6 and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the Mazda (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.24‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
