On Monday, 1 August 2016, in the morning at around 7:00, in Vilnius, on I. Šimulionio street near No. 10, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Fiat (34 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
