On Saturday, 30 July 2016, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on J. Basanavičiaus street near No. 63, a Volkswagen Passat registered in Germany hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 48-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient).
