On Saturday, 6 August 2016, at night at 23:02, in Vilnius, on Laisvės pr. near No. 76, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Lupo and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
