On Tuesday, 19 July 2016, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Vilnius, on Gedimino pr., at the junction with Jogailos street, a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
