On Tuesday, 9 August 2016, at night at 0:22, in Marijampolės municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 61, at the junction with Vytenio street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Suzuki. One person was injured — the 25-year-old driver of the Suzuki (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
