On Wednesday, 10 August 2016, in the evening at 18:29, in Vilnius, on Tūkstantmečio street, at the junction with Savanorių pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 306, a Hyundai and a Skoda. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.21‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
