On Friday, 12 August 2016, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr., at the junction with Šiaurės pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Fiat Punto. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Opel (21 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.00‰ blood alcohol).
