Unlicensed Honda driver and Volkswagen crash at Dzūkų and Liepkalnio streets, Vilnius
On Wednesday, 17 August 2016, in the evening at 20:01, in Vilnius, on Dzūkų street, at the junction with Liepkalnio street, a collision occurred. The collision involved a Honda Accord and a Volkswagen Multivan registered in Poland. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Honda, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
