On Friday, 19 August 2016, in the morning at around 10:00, in Šiauliai, on Aido street near No. 41, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz 124 registered in Germany and a Toyota Avensis Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who violated overtaking rules and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
