On Saturday, 20 August 2016, in the evening at 19:34, in Vilnius, on Molėtų pl., at the junction with Riešės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra, a Krone SDP27 and a Mercedes-Benz 1836. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Opel, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (3.26‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
